Harper was born with part of her bowel missing which was only picked up a day after she was born,she was flown to sydney childrens hospital where she not only had to undergo surgery to correct it but had to endure a lumber punch (which i wish no child to ever have to go through ) but also so many needles and drips that i lost count. Unfortunately they could not join the bowel together straight away as one side was to large to join with the other the result ended with her wearing a Colostomy bag for a couple of months on her tummy.
About almost two months into having a her bag on Harper gained an infection which caused her to have a bowel prolapse (very scary) she was again flown back to the childrens hospital where they had to push her bowel back into her stomach.
After a few days she finally had her surgery to correct her bowel.
I am forever grateful to all the surgeons and staff at the childrens hospital for everything they had done for our little girl.
Today Harper is a very happy gorgeous little girl she has a heart of gold, the most beautiful personality and a smile that just melts your heart.
