Austin was diagnosed with hip displacia at birth and wore a pavlik harness full time for 3 months, then at night time for a further 3 months. Hip hips have almost fully developed now with thanks to early detection and ongoing monitoring and care from the Orthopaedics division at Princess Margaret Hospital. He walked with no issues at 14 months and hasn't looked back since!
